Novasyte is always looking for opportunities to donate to the San Diego community. This past Thursday, February 9th, the home office team was excited to participate in a blood drive. The San Diego Blood Bank stationed their "bloodmobile" on-site, and our team members donated throughout the day, reaching our goal of 15 donations.

Novasyte was honored to host 18 veterans in our headquarters on Thursday, November 30 for a special Re-Careering Event in partnership with MVPvets, a local non-profit organization that assists and prepares transitioning military veterans for meaningful employment in life science companies. 

The event brought transitioning military together with mentors from the med-tech industry. Attendees participated in active one-on-one mentoring, industry-specific training, eLearning enrollment, and personal engagement with hiring managers and human resource professionals. 

In honor of Veterans Day, Novasyte is partnering with MVPvets to conduct a Veteran Re-careering Event in Carlsbad on Thursday, November 30 from 9am - noon.

The event brings veterans and transitioning military together with mentors from the med-tech industry. Attendees will participate in active one-on-one mentoring, industry-specific training, eLearning enrollment, and personal engagement with hiring managers and human resource professionals.

We are pleased to announce that Novasyte and MVPvets, a nonprofit organization that empowers veterans and transitioning military to find careers in the life science industry, officially announced their partnership for 2017 and 2018.

MVPvets serves as a bridge between men and women transitioning out of the military and into life science companies by helping veterans build their knowledge of the industry and improve their job-seeking skills. They partner with select organizations in the life sciences industry to re-engage veterans into new and exciting career opportunities.

We continue to think about the Greater Houston Area, the Caribbean and Florida during this difficult time. At Novasyte, we are proud to say that one of our team members, Marissa Murphy, was on site with her search and rescue team supporting the much needed relief efforts in the most crucial 72 hours following the storm. We sat down with Marissa and interviewed her on her experience visiting the Greater Houston Area last week.

We are thrilled to announce Lisa Rood is joining the Novasyte Senior Leadership Team.

Lisa officially joined the Novasyte team as the Director of Human Resources on Monday, August 7, 2017. Reporting directly to Tim Gleeson, Founder and CEO, Lisa will be responsible for the job design, recruitment, retention, performance management, training, development, implication, and administration of all of Novasyte's human capital initiatives and programs. 

We are thrilled to announce that Novasyte ranked 2,428 on the 2017 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America. This is a notable achievement as it's the fifth consecutive year Novasyte has been recognized and only seven percent of all applicants have made the list five times. Additionally, 2017 marks a significant jump in rank for Novasyte from 3,591 to 2,428. 

Novasyte recently earned the recognition of ‘Best Places to Work' for 2017 by the San Diego Business Journal.
